WindSports Southern Association Inc
We are a new club based in Invercargill, New Zealand. Looking after the interests of Land Yachts, (Blo-karts), Windsurfing and Kiting, (including Kite Surfing, Kite Bugging, Kite Boarding, Snow Kiting), in the southern region of New Zealand.
Where we play
- Oreti Beach is a 26km long hard packed sand beach, where blo-karts, buggy’s and boards enjoy the mostly westerly winds here in Southland. The surf on the beach is a playground for both Kitesurfers and Windsurfers. All within 10 minutes drive from Invercargill.
- Awarua Bay is 30 minutes south of Invercargill, is a flat water haven for all wind directions.
- Riverton is 45mins west of Invercargill, for an easterly wind. Or continue round the corner to Colac Bay or Monkey Island.
